JAVA Survey Examples

These examples work with the older Netscape 4 browser and Microsoft Internet Explorer 4, 5 or 6. You can also try the new Java 2 examples (in the columns on the right) and if you do not have the Java 2 plugin, it will prompt you to download it.

These examples require the newer and more powerful Java 2 capability that is included with Netscape 6 and 7 and is part of Mac OS X. Microsoft IE and older browers require a plugin which you may be prompted to download.

This version of the Internet Respondent plays 8-bit mono u-law formatted sound files which are reasonably compact and should be adequate for most surveys requiring audio instructions or music. If you need an audio recording, editing, or format conversion utility, check out the GoldWave product at: http://www.goldwave.com. We used it to create the audio for these examples.
