Survey Said SE/EE Reference Manual
|
Survey Said consists of (3) programs that work together to facilitate designing surveys, polling and analyzing responses and reporting the results. Significant changes in Survey Said have better defined the roles of the Survey Creator and the Survey Analyzer. Simply put the Creator is responsible for the questions, the Survey Analyzer is responsible for the analysis, and the Survey Respondent is responsible for entering answers in non Internet Web environments.
The Survey Creator is responsible for creating Libraries and Surveys, managing the questions in these files, and setting Library and Survey Options. The Survey Analyzer is responsible for analysis and managing respondents answers (the data). The Survey Respondent is responsible for presenting the questions and collecting the answers for a respondent in a PC Windows environment. In an Internet or Intranet environment a Web browser such as Netscape takes the place of the Survey Respondent when administering either Survey Said generated HTML or Java based surveys.
